Let's see what i've done over the month or so...
Since i last blogged on 19 Aug, there was a week of nothingness. Or rather, i can only rmb trying Hog Breath on the 25th. It was not bad.. portions were huge though. And it's a nice place to hag out wif the guys cuz they have an area to relax and watch soccer! And it's definitely more accessible than holland V =D.
After that week, i had Guards ATEC from 27 to 30 which i cant comment on cuz some ppl working in the army would deem it wrong. Anyway, after tt i had a loooooooong break until the 12th of Sep =D. Anyway, after ATEC.. my feet totally stank!!!! I suppose it's due to me not changing socks for 4 days, and during the outfield duration of 3 days, my feet were left to rot in wet socks (wet from the sweat). Ewwwwwwww!! They were really smelly and it required 3 days before the smell went off! It was bad hair day for 3 days too. Think.. hair, sweat (lots of it), heat, enclosed, kept in.. Get the idea? Yea.. When i reached home on Thurs night, i had to wash my hair TWICE, and used conditioner too! It was terrible. And my hair stank too.. Haha!

On 2nd Sep, it was my gong gong's birthday dinner at Roland Restaurant. It was the first time ever since i can rmb that he gave a treat to his whole family of 16 during his birthday! And so, I decided to get a Journey To The West Chinese Chess set for him, and chipped my bro and cousin in. I'm happy that everyone said it's nice! =) The portions of the dishes were huge! Afterall, it's for 16.. haha! However, the food was so-so.. i ate there many times before.. Way back during the days when it was called Sin Leong Restaurant.
On 3rd Sep, Sushi buffet for lunch with ty! <- exclaimation mark cuz it's sushi buffet and not cuz it's with ty =D. Anyway, not sakae sushi pls.. it's SUSHI KIKUZAWA at International Building. It was $33 nett for lunch. Which i think is quite reasonable given the quality of the fishes.
I went down to Sunshine to listen to them on the 4th, and was disappointed with them. Anyway, i juz lazed at home on the 4th, 5th and 6th. Din go out at all la! I was a little surprised that i wasted my off in this manner. Actually i was on MC on the 5th and 6th and was supposed to stay at home, and stayed at home i did =D.
7th was a usual Fri.. went for lessons in the evening.
8th, 9th 10th i was in HK!! Had holiday there. I did not spend much there though.. probably about S$700 only. I thought i would spend more though. I combed the entire Mongkok, TST and Causeway Bay area in general. Bought a few tops, a bag, a watch for ty, some display sets, and a pair of shoes. I spent about 1k HK in a day. And on the last day, i bought 8boxes of 6 lao po bing from Hang Heung.. bought a box of mooncakes from there too. I bought 4 dozens of donuts too! Haha! Krisy Kreme. 1 box for army guys, 1 for ty and 1 for Louiza. The last one is for myself. Muahahaha! Lastly, a whole goose. Yes, i bought a whole goose.
11th, i went around giving out stuff like an ahmad. Day started at 0700 when louiza woke me up and i went to her place to give her the donuts and lao bo bing b4 sending her to school, which was terrible cuz of the jam! There was a jam from bedok to Buona Vista on the ECP. As a result, she was late for lecture and only reached at 0830. So sorry!! Met ty at her Eusoff Hall for donuts and her watch next. I have great taste =D. I did not know the watch i picked was a new model at all! Haha! Until she told me and yup, i have great taste.
After that, i went to grandma's place for the goose. It was in pretty good state and she chopped it up. I went to camp to give out donuts and lao po bing next, followed by going to gu-gu's place to give them a box of lao po bing cuz she helped me check out the prices for my hk trip. I went with my cousin for lunch at Parkway before heading back home to rest! But rest for 15 min only! I had to rush down to Katong for a singing session with the guys! Haha! Yesh.. laksa after tt, b4 rushing home to prepare to book in! =( I went to Louiza's place again, yes again, to pass her the goose. And i think her response and facial expressions then were nice. Haha! Awwww... it was sweet.. really. =)
12th.. Back to camp already. Amazingly, i did not have lots of mail.. haha! Anyway, i had dinner at Sakura @ Downtown with the guys to send Jun into army.. And he's still not out yet.. wonder how he's coping now....
15th Sep.. Met ty for Copahaegan at Taka. Nice place, nice food, bad service, so-so priced. Good food, tt's wad mattes most!
19th.. Went for my first Medical Appt in army at MMI near NUH. It was a waste of time cuz the specialist said the exact same thing Dr Troy said. The X-ray made no sense to him and he told me to go for a CT scan at TTSH on 1st Oct. I met louiza for lunch and we went to the famous boneless duck rice place behind NUS too. Drove around and there's another place for us to visit.. Haw Par Villa!! Haha! Sent her for her tuition after that before going home..
22nd. Went out with Pei Yi for the 2nd time and we caught no reservations at Marina. Ate at spaghetties which totally disappointed me. Haha.. and i have to say the more u go out with a person, the more u know a person.
