It makes absolute perfect sense to fully concentrate on my uni studies now, and resume anything music in 3 years time. Reason being that the music thing would always be around, but if I'm kicked out of NUS, it's the end for my time in NUS, though SIM is juz next door.

HOWEVER

It also makes perfect sense not to concentrate fully as the University would always be there, but opportunities once gone, are gone-d.

Grrrr.. It's like a horrible decision! I'm like inside the danger zone. Have been in it since my very first Sem cuz I screwed up super badly then. It's hard to pull it up cuz it's like super low.

Having perf at NP and Jurong Pt tmr~~

Ahh.. the turn of another year. For countdown, once again, I was at Khatib being Stage Manager for the big scale NSS Sparkle on Countdown. Each big event like this is a wonderful learning opportunity for me to gain valuable experience. Esp in terms of how the technical people do their job. I was able to meet some artistes as well and that opens up my contacts! But haizzz... these ppl only know me as the stage manager, nth else. They do not know that I can play the keys too. I was debating with myself on whether I should stop backstage and get into just pure performing, but decided that a two-pronged approach is best for me. I learn to see things from both points of view and each job teaches me diff things.

A big improvement in terms of my music stuff for the year. I learnt a lot a lot about playing as a band keyboardist and have put it in my unplugged. Also, vocal and stage productions, etc.. Many many things that cannot be seen. I always like to say that I'm super proud of myself for all the musical improvements I've made over the past 3 years when I started not knowing anything about music and even wad a major scale sounds like. DU XIN!!! I would like to meet u and let u comment on my improvements over the years cuz you were the very very first music teacher I ever had. =)

And about today.. I juz came back from JB with Almido. Quite satisfied with wad I've bought! And the dinner was like super cheap la! Live seafood restaurant for 7 for only 500ringgit. That's like 30 each with crab, live fish, prawns, oyster etc.. Haha! That's a fantastic place discovered. I'm a foodie =)
