I juz cooked a 10 course meal for Maye, Winnie, Miao Ru, Yanjia, Ming Ming, Wei Quan, Darren and Ben at my place.
- Cold Pacific clams in sweet sour sauce (my mum)
- Shi Quan Da Pu Tang (my mum)
- Baked Pork Belly in Honey Sauce
- Steamed fish Canto style
- Steamed Minced Pork
- Roast Chicken in Pik Fong Tong Style
- Prawns in Salad Cream
- Har Lok Prawns
- Stir-fried Cabbage
- Mango Pudding
Took me the whole day, but I think I am better at multi-tasking cooking. =D Finished 7 dishes in 1.5 hours. Slow by zi char standards but for home.. quite ok la! Haha! Baked, Deep fry and steaming all at the same time.
The food turned out not too bad. But my previous attempt of the chicken was tastier. The har lok prawns were a little bland w/o the sauce. However, my first attempt of the steamed fish was damn good. Super surprising cuz my sauce was very similar to that of restaurants and zi chars. I've found the secret to creating that sauce! =D =D
Ahh~ Long time w/o posts.. Exams.. Shit. Wasted another semester. All I learnt in these 2 years in NUS were music related. Nothing to do with my degree at all. Screw it. I wonder.. should I even restart my degree in Arts if I am accepted... Now with my present job at hand.......
CAC+US was a week after exams. It was much better planned that last year and a good experience too. Perhaps it was cuz I was the main liaison and was kept in the loop of everything. The retro image we had was damn funny. Haha! We couldn't stop laughing at each other in the dressing room.
Voices chalet and qing gong yan was after CAC+US. BBQ, and we had a good time watching Emerge videos. Though not edited, it was still ok. I really hope the edited one would be boomzifying. Looking forward to it! And I became totally crazy and lost all image I had playing Polar Bear. I never knew Polar Bear could be so amusing! Haha! It's the company.. perhaps the people I used to play with were too serious! Ended up sleeping while seated at the couch shared with yj. I remember I got a shock when I opened my eyes as I woke up cuz all I saw was black hair! Haha! Somehow I ended up looking at yj's head.. it was a scare =D
Stardust next up. I was SM. Terrible project. Horrible admin. My job was not to let rehearsal overun, and smooth actual program flow. Rehearsals ended on time. And the switch over of bands during the actual show was damn fast. Playing of MMOs for vocalists were good too. A job well done by me. But overall, a terrible experience for me. I guess that's a typical NUS student initiated kinda project. =)
Got a job. Seems like a combination of whatever I've learnt. Be it frontline as a keyboardist or backline. Sounds good. Pay's damn basic for a start. But see how. Work hard for it. Screw sch I guess.. Haha..
