I went over to JB with yanjia today to just shop shop shop and shop! Supposed to meet at 11 but i overslept and ended up meeting her only at 1145 =X But still, had enough time to shop at Holiday Plaza, KSL City and City Square. I got my jeans and jacket and some tops.. she got a few tops too!

When we reached Singapore, we went over to harbourfront terminal wanting to take the Long Jie cruise, but it was too late! Perhaps on Wed when I meet her to celebrate her birthday for her =) We took a bus to Bedok and ate Simpang Bedok. But she was really unwell.. insufficient sleep + period + long walking hours + lack of food. =((

Went over to collect the care, and sent her back. Simple day. =)

He has flown off to SEP last night. Yj told me she cried a lot. It's hurting to me simply because she really misses him and love him. Is it really a two way thing for them now, and one way for me? I understand everything she's doing because I would do the same to her when she's gone. I understand it perfectly.. so well such that it hurts.

Although we spoke on the phone at night, yj is hiding something. Perhaps using everything else to cover her feelings. She's a superb nice girl.. doing everything to help him. She said she's going to/did something super shocking to me.. but left it hanging there. What is it?? It's really 胡思乱想.....

I dunno.. my options have to open up a lot a lot. I can't rant to anyone because I know what I should do and what the replies would be. It's so obvious I have to back out.. but it's hard. Very very hard... I gave everything to her birthday, and there's the part 2. I guess, let's see how things go from now until she flies.

I was looking through our sms-es before I slept and saw that in just ONE month from 20/12 to 20/1. A lot a lot happened between us.. Everything was super fine until I sent the email. Was it coincidence that it was the cruise trip? Perhaps, perhaps not..

I dunno how she pacified him to go on the trip, but she did it anyway. And they seemed to get closer from then on. Even in HK.. she blurting out buying thing "for my boyfriend" in front of me not knowing it. Her heart has all gone to him. I'm just someone who treats her super good. Even though he hurt her time and time again, she still loves him a lot. Haizzz... I really miss November.. I really do!

Ok, more pictures from the Thailand trip is up. She did a shirt for me.. and the exact same one for him.. Mine's "Nobody plays it better than Joel", for him "Nobody loves me more than my girlfriend". This is like so deja-vu! Haizzzz.. nth to say....

When you see all those stuff. You have some feelings, but nth much.. and it subsides after a few minutes. What does it mean? Does it mean that you have given up? No, I havent.. I still love her a lot. Then does it mean you are emo, but feel happy for her cuz you see her happy? Perhaps.. But come one Joel, this is not you. So not you... Are you that noble? I'm emo cuz she's not with me, and she's feeling happy with him. But because she's feeling happy with him, my emo-ness gets subdued? Perhaps perhaps... It's until July. A good half year from now and a lot of things can happen in half year. I dunno.. It's been a very very good Oct/Nov 10 for me. =) As long as she's happy... haha...

Finally, time to sit down in the afternoon at home to do my own stuff, and to slow down my life a little. Aside from HK, I have been busy with yj's birthday party the whole of last week. It's a week more to part 2 though.. Haha! I guess probably after today, I would be busy fretting again!

The program
1) A life-sized stand up card-out of herself at the reception area to welcome everyone! This was something we spoke about before, and so I decided to just get it for the 21st.
2a) Singing <<睁一只眼闭一只眼>> using the track with her vocal recording. And KO was to expose that she was not singing live as a distraction to everyone and herself for part b.
2b) Singing <<野蛮游戏>>. Simply because it started off with 老虎老鼠傻傻分不清楚. I had a tiger mascot coming in from the back and it surprised everyone including herself. Why a cute tiger mascot? Yj likes Tigger, and that's the closest thing I could find.
2c) Singing <<你的眼神>>, and oldie. Chose it because she learnt about this song at my workplace and liked it a lot. The surprise here was to 调 her with a $10000 "garland", to put on a tiara and to give her a wand like my workplace style. It was something she wanted to try out too. Coincidentally, her dressing was not elaborate, and with these 3 things on her, it did not seem too "over".
3) A charades game whereby she was supposed to just act and everyone guess. Forfeited her with sugarcane juice, something she hated. It was a bottled version.. the mildest of all things she hated.
4) Open mic for anyone to sing any song. Provided that either me or weiquan knows of the song. Together we have super a lot of songs =D
5a) To sing her 主打歌 <<了解>>.. something that has a story behind for us as well. I was on the keys for her and it was a touching rendition. Not the best, but really good enough. =)
5b) As the song ends, the cake comes out. The cake is a 3d sculpted cake of a Pig Angel. Super duper cute which everyone rushed to take a photo off!
5c) Right after blowing out the candles, all the lights go off, and on the wall shows "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" using Christmas lights.
5d) A video of her life from her friends around, and the Voices journey.

Food wise, it was from ISS Catering.. their $8 buffet plus the roast baby lamb!

Yes, I planned everything! With a lot of admin help from Marcus. He really super duper helped me a lot. KO was the main MC and he got my points across, to prevent anything from making me unhappy happening.

I think Marcus deserves a longer post. He came down with me to recee the place, plus missed lecture, plus help deco everything. When there wasn't enough drinks, he went to buy it when I was busy. I admit I was in a flush at the initial stages of the party cuz of personal reasons and he settled everything for me. The best part of all, he insisted on cabbing back home at the end when he was offered a ride by the pig. =) This is a friend. =)))

I put everything I had into it.. It was smooth, with many surprises one after the other culminating in the video. Was the money and time well spent? To me, very well so. Efforts paid off!

A long time since I published a post. Haha.. I had 3 personal entries but decided not to publish them.

Let's see.. Xmas and New Year.

Xmas:
I spent the eve having dinner with 23sa peeps at this Korean bbq place at City Square. It was rather cheap but service horrid. Haha.. After that, I rushed down to Imperial for my very first show! Emcee-ing and playing is very very hard! It was a good first experience nevertheless.

After I ended work at 2am, I met Angela and we hung around talking about stuff until about 6am, and I slept my Xmas day away. Woke up at like 7plus pm and just went straight to work. =)

New Year:
The long awaited Almido Xmas gift exchange and gathering was on the eve of New Year! Terence had a small gathering at his place and we went there. I had to leave early thought cuz I had work, and had my 2nd show.

Almido met up at Swee Choon Dim Sum after I ended work for a super duper sumptuous meal! Oh, this year, I got Mich's Xmas gift! It was a cup with customised words and pictures of Almido! Mich's presents have always been the most creative and hand made since the first Xmas exchange we had! I would say I'm super lucky to get hers this year! =)

I slept New Year day away like Xmas, and went to work in the evening. I met up with her to get her luggage from Chinatown, which is near where I work, and she stayed a little to watch me before going off. That's my New Year!

On 2/1, 2 pigs supposed to meet for breakfast/lunch but they slept in and overslept! =)

4/1 to 9/1 was my HK trip with Ben, Yanjia, Yuxing and Qianhua! A whole summary in another post another day ba!

For the previous years, I used to write down the highlights of my life for the year.. Let's see..

2010!
Jan: Completed another countdown, but with Voices peeps this time, and the "final" sem for nus..
Feb: Priscilla went out of my life. A really extraordinary thing I would say... But it's long gone behind me.
Mar: Emerge! Something I am very proud of. A whole concert done up with standards and enjoyed! =D Yes, I'm thick-skinned! =)
Apr/May/June: Got "out" of nus.. Auditioned for Dragonfly, got thru to my lsb..
July: Overseas trip to Taiwan with Yanjia, Winnie and Angela!
Sep/Oct: Someone came into my life....
Dec: My first performance and start of my lsb job.

It seems a pretty boring and mundane year.. I had more in previous years I think. Haha.. nevertheless, it's the quality..
